From Ahmet
I drove trucks for eleven years before I started this company.
Istarted driving commercial trucks in 2004 as a young man determined to earn an income and provide for my family. Through years of hard work, dedication, and loyalty to the companies I worked for, I built a strong reputation in the trucking industry.
For eleven years I ran for other carriers — large and small. I watched how they operated. Some things worked. Most didn’t. Drivers were easy to replace, dispatch was hard to reach, and the relationship between a company and its drivers was about the load, not the person. I filed that away.
“Because I started as a driver myself, I understand the challenges drivers face every day. I built ABE around that.”
In 2015, after years of experience on the road, I purchased my first truck and started ABE Trucking. The name carries something personal — the initials of my son’s name. At the time, my wife and I were expecting our second child. While I worked long days and nights building the business from the ground up, she dedicated herself to caring for our children and holding our family together. That sacrifice is part of what ABE is built on.
Year after year, through hard work and persistence, ABE continued to grow. Today we run dry van and refrigerated freight across the western and midwestern United States with 25 trucks and a team of drivers I trust. We’re not the biggest company on the road — we’re a family operation that treats drivers the way I always wanted to be treated. Safety, reliability, loyalty, and hard work are the foundation of this company, and they guide us every day.
